Discord, the popular voice and text chat app, has been making waves in the gaming community lately for its unique features and user-friendly interface. But what about its security? Discord has been known to be a secure platform, but is it safe to use with Google Smart Lock? Google Smart Lock is a feature that allows users to authorize devices like phones and laptops by scanning a QR code or entering a PIN. It’s available on most devices running Android or iOS, and can be used to secure your Discord account as well. To use Google Smart Lock on Discord, first open the app and sign in. Then go to Settings > Security & Privacy > Google Smart Lock. On the right side of the screen, you’ll see an option to add a new device. Tap Add Device and enter your Discord username and password. You’ll then be prompted to scan a QR code or enter your PIN. After you’ve added your device, you’ll need to re-enter your password every time you sign in to Discord using that device. So far, we haven’t found any evidence that Discord was compromised using Google Smart Lock.
