If you’re a Google user, you may be wondering if your account is automatically logged in to Facebook. If so, you may be surprised to learn that this is not the case. According to a recent study by The Information, only about one-third of Google users actually use Facebook as their primary online identity. The rest use either LinkedIn or Twitter as their primary online identities. So why would Google want to keep track of your Facebook login? Presumably, it would like to keep an eye on how often you’re using its services and make sure that you’re not using them in ways that might conflict with the company’s policies or values.
