When my iPhone 6s died, I was really bummed. I had just bought it a few weeks earlier and was really looking forward to using it. I plugged it in to the charger and waited for it to turn on, but nothing happened. I tried a different charger, different outlet, and even tried holding the power button down for a few seconds. Nothing worked. I was about to give up when I remembered that my iPhone sometimes takes a little longer than usual to turn on when it’s dead. So I waited another five minutes and finally got the screen to light up. But now my phone wouldn’t turn off no matter how hard I tried. I called Apple support and they told me that my phone would be fixed in around two weeks because they needed to send it in for repairs. That was pretty disappointing because now my phone is basically useless until it comes back.
