If you’re like most iPhone users, you probably have a few nicknames for your device. Maybe you call it “Buddy” or “Cupcake,” but what if you want to add a new nickname? There are a few ways to do this. The first option is to go into Settings and select General. From here, tap on Name and then enter the nickname you want to use. If the nickname is already in use by someone else on your device, it will show an error message and you won’t be able to use it. If the nickname isn’t in Settings, you can try using Siri to search for it. Just say “Hey Siri, what’s my nickname?” and the assistant will respond with a list of nicknames that are registered on your device. You can then choose one of these nicknames to use as your new name for the iPhone. If neither of these options work for you, there is another way to add a new nickname: through iTunes. Open iTunes and click on Preferences in the menu bar at the top of the screen. From here, select Accounts and then click on Add Account… In the window that pops up, enter your name (or nickname) and password (if necessary) and then click on Next. Click on Sign In when prompted and then select Use Your Apple ID… In the next window, enter your Apple ID password again and then click on Next. Click on Create Account at the bottom of this window if everything goes according to plan—if not, please consult Apple support for assistance! Once everything is set up correctly, your new nickname should be listed under Accounts in iTunes preferences. ..
