If you’re like most people, you probably have music stored on your iPhone in some form or another. Whether it’s your personal music collection or the music you’ve downloaded from the iTunes store, there’s a good chance that some of your favorite songs are stored on your iPhone. But what if you want to listen to those songs offline, without having to worry about connection issues? That’s where hold music comes in. Hold music is a feature that allows you to play back audio files that have been stored on your iPhone for a set amount of time (usually 30 minutes). This way, if you lose power or have an internet outage, all of your favorite songs will still be playable offline. To use hold music, first open up the Music app and select one of your albums. Once it’s selected, tap on the three lines in the top left corner and select “Hold.” This will add a hold button to the bottom right corner of the screen so that you can easily play back any audio files that have been stored on your iPhone for a set amount of time (usually 30 minutes).
