If you’re a Google user, you may be familiar with the Smart Lock feature. Smart Lock allows you to set up rules for who can access your device and when. You can also set up rules for how long someone has to stay on your device before they are allowed to leave. Smart Lock is a great feature, but it can be difficult to change the settings. Here’s how:

  1. Open the Google Settings app and open the Security section.
  2. Under “Smart Lock,” select “On.”
  3. Under “Rules,” select “Who can access this device?” and enter your desired users into the field.
  4. Under “When,” select “When someone is allowed to leave.”
  5. Under “How long,” select “How long before this rule is enforced.”
