The easiest way is to use Apple’s System Preferences. To open System Preferences, click on the Apple icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen and select System Preferences. Click on Network in System Preferences and then click on Wi-Fi. In the list of networks, select your network and click on Properties. In the General tab, under Address, type in a new address for your network and press Return or Enter. (You can also type in an IP address if you know it.) Under Subnet Mask, type in 255.255.255.0 and press Return or Enter. Under Default Gateway, type in 192.168.1.1 and press Return or Enter. (You can also type in an IP address if you know it.) Under DNS Servers, type in 8 . 8 . 8 . 1 and press Return or Enter.(You can also type in an IP address if you know it.) Click on OK to save these changes and close System Preferences. Now when you connect to your network using Wi-Fi, your iPhone will use this new address instead of its carrier’s default one ..
