If you’re like most people, you probably use Instagram to capture and share photos and videos. But if you’re like me, you also use it to stay up-to-date on what’s going on with your friends and family. And if you’re like me, you want the notifications for your Instagram account to sound like they do when I’m actually using the app. There are a few ways to change the notification sound on your iPhone, but the easiest way is to go into Settings and select General. Then under Sound & Notification Options, select “Notification Sounds.” Under that heading, select “Notifications” and then “Sound.” Now under that heading, select “Notifications” again and then “Sound.” Finally, under that heading, select “Default Sound for Notifications.” Now when you get a notification on your iPhone, it will play the default sound for notifications. If you want to change the sound of a notification specifically for Instagram, just go back into Settings and select Notification Sounds again. And if you ever need to revert back to the original notification sound on your iPhone after changing it elsewhere in Settings or by going into General (or any other app), just hit Command+Option+Delete (or Control+Option+Command+Delete) and then type in “notification_sound” into the text field in order to restore the original notification sound.
