If you’re like most people, you probably have notifications set up on your phone for things like Facebook messages, Twitter notifications, and Instagram notifications. But if you’re like me, you don’t always know what to do with all of those notifications. Luckily, there are a few ways to clear Instagram notifications without having to go through the hassle of setting them all up again. Here are three tips:

  1. Clear your phone’s notification history: This is the first step in clearing Instagram notifications. Clear your phone’s notification history by going to Settings -> Notifications -> Clear History. This will remove all of the recent Instagram notifications from your device.
  2. Disable automatic updates for Instagram: If you don’t want Instagram to send automatic updates (which can include new features and bug fixes), then you can disable it by going to Settings -> Updates -> Disable Automatic Updates for Instagram. This will stop the app from automatically installing new updates and crashing when they do.
  3. Delete any oldInstagram posts: If you’ve been using Instagram for a while and haven’t deleted any old posts, then it might be helpful to do that first before clearing your notification history because some old posts might still be stored on the app. To delete an old post, go to Settings -> Posts & Notifications -> Delete Old Posts and select the post you want to delete from the list.
