If you’re an iPhone gamer looking to take your game to the next level, you’ll want to connect a pro controller to your device. Here’s how:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone and tap General.
- Under “Accessibility,” turn on “Proximity Sensor.”
- Open the App Store and search for “Controller Mapping.” There are a number of options available, but we recommend using “MFi Controller for iPhone” by Mad Catz. Once you’ve installed the app, open it and click on the “+” button in the bottom-left corner.
- Select “iPhone (5th generation)” from the list of devices and enter your Apple ID password. You’ll then be prompted to choose a controller type: wired or wireless. We recommend using a wired controller because it’s more stable and offers better performance than wireless controllers when gaming on an iPhone 5 or later device with an A12 Bionic chip. If you’re using an older device, we recommend using a wireless controller because they’re more responsive and offer better battery life than wired controllers. ..
