If you’re like most people, you probably use Instagram to capture and share photos and videos of your day-to-day life. But if you’re like me, you also use it to document your creative process. One way to keep your Instagram account looking fresh is to crop videos so that they look more professional. Here’s how:
- Open Instagram and sign in.
- Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen (the one with the green arrow). This will take you to a menu where you can select “Settings.”
- On the “Settings” screen, click on “General.”
- In the “General” section, click on “Video.”
- In the “Video” section, click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen (the one with the green arrow). This will take you to a menu where you can select “Crop.” This will open a dialog box where you can choose how much space to give your video and how wide it should be cropped. If you don’t want your video cropped, leave everything as is. If you do want it cropped, make sure that: 1) The width of your video is at least twice its height; 2) The crop area is at least twice as large as your original video size; 3) The crop area doesn’t contain any text or other content; 4) The entire clip has been saved as a file; 5) When clicked on, this will close the dialog box and save your changes
