However, if you’ve ever had trouble deactivating Smart Lock on Instagram, this guide is for you. Here are four steps to deactivate Google Smart Lock on Instagram:

  1. Open the Instagram app on your phone.
  2. Tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Under “Settings,” tap on “Security.”
