If you have an WhatsApp account, it’s important to deactivate it so that your messages and calls are not sent through the app. To do this, open the WhatsApp app on your phone and select “Settings.” Scroll down to the bottom and select “Deactivate Account.” After you’ve deactivated your account, you won’t be able to use it to send or receive messages or calls.
Open WhatsApp and go to Settings > Account. Tap Delete my account. Enter your phone number and tap Delete my account. Tap Delete account to confirm.
