If you’re an iPhone user and have an account with Apple, there’s a good chance that you’ve used the deauthorization feature to remove yourself from certain accounts or disable features on your phone. But what if you don’t have an Apple account? What if you just want to stop using your iPhone but don’t want to delete your data? In that case, there are a few steps you can take to deauthorize your iPhone.
- Open the Settings app and select General > Deauthorization > Remove Account. This will open a dialog where you can choose which accounts to deauthorize and how much data to delete.
- Select the account or features that you want removed and click on the Delete button. Your data will be deleted immediately, but if you have any questions about why it was deleted, please contact Apple support.
- If everything goes according to plan and your data is still intact, congrats! You’ve successfully deauthorized your iPhone! But if not… well, we hope this article was of some help!
Open the Settings app. Tap iTunes & App Store. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen. Tap View Apple ID. Tap Authorizations > Deauthorize All.
