If you are the parent of a child on Messenger, there are a few steps you can take to delete their profile.
- Open Messenger and sign in.
- Type “delete child’s profile” into the chat box and hit enter.
- Your child’s profile will be deleted and they will not be able to join or communicate with you anymore.
if you are not satisfied with Kids then follow these steps:
- to deactivate Kids from your Facebook account go to Settings -> General. Look for the Kids tab and click on it.
2 Click on Kids Activity Review (opens in new window) , enter your password, and then select Delete My Kids Account . You will be asked why you are deleting Kids. Just enter any reason – e.g.: “I don’t want my child on Kids anymore”. The final step is some information about Kids that may interest you such as Privacy Policy, Terms of Service etc.
3 That’s all, now you can safely exit out of all screens without having Kids installed any more.
4 If in future you do decide to reinstall Kids follow these steps:
Log into your kids’ account at facebook. com /kids.
Click on Kids and then log into Kids.
After Kids is installed, click on Kids again to launch Kids. Kids should be reinstalled with all your settings (e.g., language). Kids will look for your password or Kids code and ask you to confirm it again. Kids is now reinstalled!
Kids will launch when clicked on Kids, but Kids settings are not saved – Facebook wants you to re-enter all your information. You can select “Don’t ask me this again” so that Kids won’t bother you next time with a reminder about entering information in account details. Kids has been successfully uninstalled.
If Kids was previously uninstalled, then there may be a message informing that Kids was recently removed and allowing you to restore it. Click the Reinstall button to restore Kids. You will be asked if you want to open Kids; click the Continue button and allow installation of Kids from Apple App Store.
