If you’re a user of Instagram, and you’ve received a message that you don’t recognize, there’s one way to find out who sent it. To do this, open the app and go to the “Message” tab. Under the “From” field, look for the name of the person who sent the message. If it’s not there, or if it’s not from your account, then you can be sure that someone else sent it - probably someone who isn’t your friend or family member. If you still can’t identify who sent the message, then there are a few other ways to check. One is to check whether anyone has commented on it - if they have, then chances are good that someone else also saw and liked it. If no one has commented yet, or if they have but haven’t shared their thoughts with us yet, then we might be able to identify who sent it based on how popular their post is (and whether anyone has replied). Finally, if all of these methods don’t help you figure out who un-sent a message on Instagram, then you can always reach out to Instagram support using their contact form.
