Xbox 360 discs are a common sight in gaming stores, but they can also be found scratched or damaged. Here are some tips on how to fix a scratched Xbox 360 disc:
- Clean the disc with a mild soap and water. This will remove any built-up dirt and dust that may have caused the scratch.
- Use a dry cloth to clean the entire disc surface. Be sure to avoid getting any liquid on the sensitive electronics inside the Xbox 360.
- Place the disc into an oven or microwave oven on high heat until it starts to melt away the adhesive layer that holds it together (usually about 10 minutes). Do not overheat or you may damage the disc or its electronics inside!
- Once all of the adhesive has melted away, carefully peel off the old disc and replace it with the new one! Make sure to place it back in its correct position so that no dust or dirt falls onto your Xbox 360’s delicate electronics!
