Xbox buttons can be a bit of a pain to fix. Sometimes they just don’t work right, and other times they’re just too hard to get to. Here’s how to fix a stuck Xbox button:

  1. Open the console and look for the power button. It’ll usually be on the front or back of the console.
  2. Push and pull on the button until it pops out of its hole.
  3. Take off the screws that hold the button in place (if there are any) and set them aside. You’ll now need to remove the old button from your Xbox.
  4. Place the new button in its place and screw it in place using the screws that came with your Xbox (if there are any). Make sure that everything is lined up correctly before you start playing!
