If you’re like most people, you probably use Instagram to document your life and share photos with friends. But if your account was compromised, it’s important to take steps to fix it so that your account is as safe as possible.

  1. Reset your password If your Instagram password was compromised, you need to reset it so that the new password is unique and secure. To do this, go to the Instagram website and click on the “reset password” link. You’ll then be asked to provide some basic information about yourself, such as your name and email address. After you’ve reset your password, be sure to check in on your account regularly so that you don’t lose any of the data you’ve stored there.
  2. Check for malware infections If you’re concerned about an infection on your Instagram account, you can check for malware infections by going to the Google Play Store or the App Store and downloading an app that specializes in detecting malware infections. After installation, open the app and follow the instructions onscreen to scan for malware infections. If any of your apps are infected, please remove them from play store or store and contact us immediately!
