If you’re like most people, you probably use your iPhone to take pictures and videos. But if you’re like me, you also use it to flip the camera on its side so that it can be used as a phone holder. There are a few things you need in order to do this: an iPhone 4 or newer, a tripod or monopod, and some patience. First, take the phone off of your nightstand and place it on the tripod or monopod. Then position the camera so that it’s facing down (it should be pointing towards the ground). Now hold down the power button and volume up button at the same time and wait until your phone starts to vibrate. This will tell you that your camera is now turned on. Now just hold down one of the buttons on top of your phone and wait until your other button starts vibrating as well. This will tell you that your phone is now in standby mode. Now just release both buttons and let go of the iPhone so that it can flip back into its original position.

Open the Camera app. Tap the Options button (three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner). Tap the Zoom button. Slide the Zoom slider to the amount of zoom you want.
