If you’re a journalist, you know that getting stories deleted from Instagram can be a frustrating experience. But there’s a way to get them back, and it’s not as hard as you might think. First, make sure that your account is set to “private.” This will keep your posts and comments private and will also prevent other users from deleting them. Next, follow these steps:

  1. Type “delete story” into the top left corner of your Instagram account and select the “Delete Story” button.
  2. After clicking on the “Delete Story” button, you’ll be taken to a page where you can choose to have your post restored or removed from Instagram altogether.
  3. If you choose to have your post removed from Instagram, please note that this will delete all of the data associated with it - including photos, videos, and followers - so be sure to backup any important files before deletion!
