The Ancient One minion in Final Fantasy XIV is a powerful and unique enemy that can be obtained through the use of a special quest. To get this minion, you will need to complete the following steps:
- Complete the Ancient One’s Quest To start this quest, you will need to speak to the Ancient One in the Temple of Time in Dalmasca Eternia. After speaking with him, he will ask for your help in retrieving a magical item called the Crystal of Life. This item can only be found inside of The Crystal Cave, which is located in central Dalmasca Eternia. To find this cave, head south from The Crystal Cave and follow the path that leads you to it. Once you reach The Crystal Cave, speak with the Ancient One again and he will ask for your help again. This time, he will want you to find a crystal called The Eye of Truth. To find this crystal, you will need to travel to Zalar and speak with him there. After speaking with him, he will give you a crystal key as well as an ancient book that contains information on how to get access to The Eye of Truth.
- Find The Eye of Truth Once you have acquired all three crystals required for completing this quest (The Eye of Truth, Crystal Key and Book), head back into Dalmasca Eternia and speak with the Ancient One once more. He will tell you that he has found an old temple where he believes there is still some magic left hidden inside it. He also tells you that if you are able to retrieve all three crystals from inside this temple before his deadline expires, he will give you a special reward - an Ancient One minion!
