WhatsApp is a messaging app with over 1 billion active users. It’s one of the most popular apps on both Android and iOS devices. WhatsApp is also one of the most privacy-sensitive apps out there. That’s because it doesn’t store any user data like email addresses or phone numbers. Instead, WhatsApp uses a unique ID to identify each user. So if you want to know who’s visiting your WhatsApp profile, all you need to do is look for their ID. Here’s how:
- Open the WhatsApp app on your device and sign in if you’re not already logged in. If you’re signed in, tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen and select Settings from the menu that pops up.
- Under Account settings, scroll down until you see Privacy and security and tap on it. 3) Under Who can see my profile? (Your contacts only), tap on Add new contact . If someone has already added this person as a contact, they’ll be listed under People already added as contacts . Otherwise, enter the person’s name or phone number into the Add new contact field and tap Save . You’ll now see their ID next to their name or number in the list below Privacy and security . Tap on it to view their profile information: ..
