If you’re like most people, you keep your phone in your pocket. But if you’re like me, you also keep it in a safe place. That place is your desk. And if there’s ever something important on your phone that you can’t take with you, or if there’s a risk of it getting lost, then creating a secure folder on your iPhone is a great way to protect it. To create a secure folder on your iPhone, first open up the Settings app and select the General tab. Then under Security & Privacy, select the Protection tab. Under this section, choose how you want to protect your phone: by encrypting all of its data (this will make it difficult for anyone to access or view the data without your permission), by password-protecting all of its data (this will only allow people who have been authenticated by the app to access the data), or by both encrypting and password-protecting its data (this will allow only people who have been authenticated by the app to access the data and store it in their account). Once you’ve chosen how you want to protect your phone, click on the Add button and enter an appropriate security code into the text field. Then click on OK to add the security code to your account. Now that you’ve created a secure folder on your iPhone, be sure to keep it handy! If something important happens and you can’t take with you what was stored in that folder, then chances are good that someone else will be able to access it eventually - so make sure that everything is protected!
