If you’re like most people, you probably have a collection of movies and TV shows stored on your iPhone. Whether you’re a movie buff or just want to watch a few episodes of your favorite show, there’s no reason not to store your media on your iPhone. But if you’re like me, you also have a collection of MKV files. MKV files are similar to MP4 files, but they are much smaller and can be played on devices like the iPhone and iPad. To play MKV files on the iPhone, first open up iTunes and create an account if you don’t already have one. Then click on the “Music” tab and select “Movies.” Once there, select the “MKV” file that you want to play. If it’s a new file, iTunes will automatically detect it and add it to your library. If it’s an old file that has been reformatted or renamed, iTunes will need to be updated so that it can recognize the new file type. Once the MKV file is in iTunes, click on the “Play” button and enjoy!
