Multiplayer is a big part of Don’t Starve, and it’s one of the things that makes the game so much fun. If you’re new to multiplayer, or just want to improve your skills, here are a few tips to get started.

  1. Choose your character wisely. Your character is the foundation of your multiplayer experience, so make sure you choose one that suits your playstyle. If you’re a fast player who wants to run away from enemies, go for a speedy character like the Puma or Cheetah. If you prefer to stay in close quarters and fight head-on, choose a character like the Bear or Gorilla.
  2. Get used to using your items wisely. Items are key in multiplayer; use them to your advantage! For example, if you have an item that heals allies, use it to keep your team alive while you take on enemies one-on-one. Or if you have an item that damages enemies, use it in tandem with other players’ abilities to take down powerful foes quickly and easily.
  3. Be strategic when choosing where to fight. In multiplayer mode, each player has their own objective: find food or build shelter; but sometimes it’s more advantageous for one player to fight another player instead of going after their objective directly. Try and think about where the other players are likely headed and plan accordingly – this will help ensure that everyone stays focused on their goals and avoids getting bogged down in combat unnecessarily ..
