If you want to remove an Instagram account that you no longer use, there are a few different ways to go about it. The first option is to delete the account altogether. This will remove it from both your and the other user’s accounts, but any photos or videos that have been shared will still be available on the internet. If you only want to remove the account from your own account, you can do so by going to your profile and clicking on the three lines in the top left corner. From here, you can select “Remove Account” and confirm your decision. Any photos or videos that have been shared with this account will be deleted along with it. If you want to remove an Instagram account but keep any of the content that has been shared with it, you can choose to “Delete Account and All Content”.
