Goodreads is a popular online book club and reading platform. It’s been integrated into Amazon’s website and app, making it easy for users to find, add books to their shelves, and rate and review books. However, Goodreads has been known to be a bit of a privacy nightmare. In recent years, the company has been accused of sharing user data with Amazon without consent or notification. This has led some users to want to remove Goodreads from their Amazon accounts. Here are four ways to remove Goodreads from your Amazon account:

  1. Sign In to Your Account on Amazon and Go to Your Profile Page Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main page (or go to amazon.com/myaccount if you’re not signed in). On this page, you’ll see a link called “Remove Book Club.” Click on it and follow the instructions. Note that this will delete all your book club data (including ratings and reviews) from Goodreads as well as any books you’ve added to your shelves through Goodreads. If you have any books that are eligible for free shipping through Amazon, those books will also be deleted. You can re-add books after removing Goodreads from your account if you want them back; just add them again through the “Add Books” link on your profile page on Amazon.com or amazon.com/myaccount.
  2. Sign Out of Your Account at Amazon and Delete Your Profile Page at Goodreads If you only use Goodreads occasionally or if you don’t care about your book club data being stored there, you can sign out of your account at amazon.com/goodreads and delete your profile page there too (note that this will also delete all ratings and reviews).
  3. Remove Books From Your Shelves at Amazon Using the “Add Books” Link on Your Profile Page If you only use Goodreadsperson ..
