If you have a Google account and your phone is registered with that account, then you can use the Google Smart Lock feature to keep your phone locked when you’re not home. To use the Google Smart Lock feature, open the Google Settings app and click on Security. In the Security section, click on Smart Lock. Under Smart Lock settings, you’ll need to set a password for your Google account and for your phone. You can also set a time limit for how long your phone will be locked after being unlocked. If you don’t have a password or time limit, then your phone will be locked until you enter one of those two passwords or unlock it with a physical key.
