If you have an iPhone, there’s a good chance that you’ve used iring to clean it. But if you’re not careful, it can remove some of the built-in protection against data theft and other damage. To remove iring from your iPhone, follow these steps:

  1. Open the iPhone’s case and remove the battery.
  2. Remove any screws that hold the phone together. Be careful not to damage the phone or its components.
  3. Pry off the adhesive on top of the phone’s glass screen protector using a sharp object or a credit card (or your fingers). Be sure to avoid damaging any of the phone’s circuitry or internals.
  4. Place your iPhone face down on a surface that is free from scratches or dust; this will help protect it from possible damage while you’re cleaning it. If your iPhone has a case, put it on first so that its protective layer is fully in place before starting cleaning process.
  5. Use a mild soap solution (such as dishwashing soap) and water to clean all parts of iPhone including glass screen protector, adhesive, screws and other components as necessary; be sure to rinse off everything after each use (except for glass screen protector). Don’t over-soak or use too much soap - just enough so that all dirt and debris are removed but not so much that it becomes difficult to clean later on (if needed).6. Reattach battery cover and screw in place (if using an original Apple battery).7. Put iPhone back into its case and enjoy your new device with its new cleanliness!
