Edmodo is a popular online platform for parents. Parents can create and manage their child’s online profiles, communicate with them through email, and even set up parental controls to keep their children’s activities private. Unfortunately, there are a few ways to accidentally remove your child’s parent email from Edmodo. One way is if you accidentally delete their account or if they leave the platform. Another way is if you’re using Edmodo as your primary email address for your child and they get a new email address. If this happens, their parent email will still be in the system but it won’t be visible to you or anyone else. To remove your child’s parent email from Edmodo:
- Log into your account and click on the “Account” tab at the top of the screen. This will take you to the “My Account” page.
- On this page, click on the “Email Preferences” button next to “Parent Email.” This will take you to the “Email Preferences for My Child” page.
- On this page, under “Email Address,” enter an alternate email address for yourself (e.g., john@example.com). Click on the “Save Changes” button to make your changes and then click on the “Return To Account” button at the bottom of the page.
- Log out of your account and then back into it so that you can continue using Edmodo as your primary email address for your child.
