If you’re like most iPhone users, you probably don’t like the bottom bar that appears when you open up your phone. It can be annoying to have to scroll all the way down just to see what messages or notifications are waiting for you. Fortunately, there is a way to remove the bottom bar on your iPhone without having to jailbreak or root your device. Here’s how:
- Open up Settings on your iPhone and tap on General.
- Under “Accessibility,” tap on Display Accommodations and then turn off “Bottom Bar.”
- Now open up the Control Center by swiping up from the bottom of your screen and tapping on Control Center (or pressing Command + Shift + C).
- In the Control Center, tap on Accessibility and then turn off “VoiceOver Gestures & Taps.” This will disable all of the gestures that allow you to interact with your phone using only voice commands.
- Finally, open up Notification Center by swiping down from the top of your screen and tapping on Notifications (or pressing Command + N). In Notification Center, tap on an app icon and then turn off its notifications by sliding them to the left or right side of your screen (depending on how many notifications are currently displayed). ..
