If you want to save a post as a draft on Instagram, first make sure you’re in the post’s editing mode. To get there, open the post and tap on the three lines in the top left corner (or press CMD+3 on a Mac). From here, you can switch between editing modes: story, photo, and video. To save a post as a draft, tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the story editing mode.
