If you’re like most people, you probably have a lot of music on your iPhone. Whether it’s music you’ve downloaded from the iTunes store or ripped from CDs, there’s a good chance that some of that music is stored on your iPhone in mp3 format. There are a few ways to save mp3 files on your iPhone, but the best way to do it is probably the easiest: just use iTunes to copy the files to your computer and then save them as mp3s. If you want to save them as individual tracks, you can do that too, but it’s more efficient to just save them all as one file. If you want to make sure that all of your music is stored in mp3 format, though, there are a few things that you can do. First, make sure that your phone is set up so that it can play mp3s. Second, make sure that your computer has an MP3 player built in (like an iPod) andthat you’re able to play mp3s. Third, if you have an Apple TV or other media player connected to your home network (like a Xbox 360 or Playstation 3), try playing some of your favorite songs offline so that they’ll still be playable when you’re not connected. Finally, if all of these things don’t work for you or if something else comes up while playing music on your iPhone (like a message from someone who has purchased an album from iTunes), just delete the song or album from memory and try again later.
