If you’re like most people, you probably use Instagram to keep up with your favorite celebrities and brands. But if you’re like me, you also use it to scroll through your feed to see the latest posts from friends. But there’s a way to stop Instagram from scrolling to the top of your feed: set a schedule for when it’s allowed to load. Here’s how:

  1. Open Instagram and sign in.
  2. Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen (the one that looks like a gear wheel). This will open a menu with options such as “Settings.”
  3. On the “Settings” screen, click on “Privacy.”
  4. In this screen, click on the “Schedule.”
  5. In this screen, set a schedule for when Instagram is allowed to load (for example, every two hours).
