If you want to turn off your iPhone’s location services without notifying your device’s owner, there are a few ways to do so. The first way is to go to the Settings app on your iPhone and scroll down until you see “Privacy” under “General.” From here, you can toggle off “Location Services” by tapping on the switch next to it. If this method doesn’t work for you or if you want to disable location services permanently, you can also go to the Settings app and tap on “Location Services,” then toggle off “System Location Services” (this will disable all of your iPhone’s location-tracking features). Finally, if none of these methods work for you or if you just want to temporarily disable location services while you’re using your iPhone, there is also a hidden setting called “Activate Location Services When Locked.” To access this setting, first make sure that your iPhone is locked by pressing the Home button twice quickly. Once it’s locked, open the Settings app and tap on “General,” then tap on “Accessibility.” Underneath the heading “Accessibility Options,” find and tap on “Location Services.” From here, toggle off the switch next to “Activate Location Services When Locked” and viola! Your iPhone will now only use its GPS when it’s actually being used for navigation. ..
