If you’re a user of the iPhone, there’s a good chance you’ve noticed that when you send a message, the timestamp is automatically turned off. This can be a bit of an annoyance, as it can make it difficult to track down where the message came from and when it was sent. There are a few ways to turn off timestamp on messages on your iPhone:
- Open up Settings and select “Message” in the top left corner. Then under “Timestamps,” select “Never.” This will disable timestamp on messages for all future messages.
- If you’re using an Apple Watch, open up your wristwatch’s settings and select “Message” in the top left corner. Then under “Timestamps,” select “Never.” This will disable timestamp on messages for all future messages as well.
- If you’re using an iPad or iPod touch, open up Messages and select “Text” in the top left corner. Then under “Timestamps,” select “Never.” This will disable timestamp on messages for all future messages as well.
