If you’re using an iPhone to access your account at a bank or other online service, you may be using Two-factor Authentication (2FA). This security feature helps protect your account from unauthorized access by requiring you to provide two pieces of identification, typically a password and a unique code. If you don’t have 2FA enabled on your iPhone, you may be at risk of losing your account or having it compromised. To turn off 2FA on your iPhone, follow these steps:
- Open the Settings app and select General.
- Under the “Security” heading, select “Two-factor Authentication.”
- Scroll down and select “Turn off Two-factor Authentication.”
Open the Settings app and tap on “Password & Security. ”Tap on “Two-Factor Authentication. ”Toggle the switch off at the top of the screen.
