If you have an iPhone, you can turn on software update notification to be notified when new updates are available for your device. To do this, open the Settings app and select General. Under Software Update, select Check for Updates and then choose the check box next to Updates that I want to install. If you don’t want to be notified of software updates, select the check box next to Never notify me about updates and then click on the OK button.
