Humberside police are investigating the accident that happened shortly before 8 on Friday morning. The car veered off Driffield Road, between Kilham and Rudston Parva, and crashed into a tree. Members of the public rushed to try to help the man, but he died tragically from his injuries on the spot. This is the second fatal accident in the area this weekend, after an 18-year-old died in an accident a few miles north of Driffield. Another man is fighting for his life in the hospital. A police spokesman said: “Investigations are ongoing after a man was tragically killed in a collision in East Yorkshire on Friday. The collision took place around 7.55am on Driffield Street between Kilham and Rudston Parva when a black Seat Leon left the road and collided with a tree. “A 23-year-old man, who was driving the car at the time of the collision, was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed and supported by specially trained police officers, our thinking is with them.
