The agency says the dense fog is expected to last until the morning. Hamilton, Toronto, Durham Region and Peterborough are among the areas subject to the advisory. Environment Canada says visibility can drop “significantly and suddenly to near zero.” It advises drivers to slow down, watch their tail lights and be ready to brake. The agency issued similar warnings Thursday in Hamilton and the greater Toronto area and parts of northern Ontario.
