The 62-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene after his black BMW collided with two agricultural vehicles around 16.15 yesterday. 

Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to the A199, near Foxlake Adventures, before blocking the road for more than 12 hours. Conflict investigators are now calling for anyone with video from the dashboard camera in the area who may have seen the BMW to show up. Sergeant Kosmas Papakyriakou said: “Unfortunately, as a result of this crash a man lost his life and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very difficult time. “I would ask anyone who saw the vehicles immediately before the collision, namely BMW, to come forward. “I would also ask anyone who recorded with a dash-cam on the site to check their material and provide us with anything related to us as soon as possible. “Anyone with information should contact the Scottish Police at 101 and report incident number 2254 on Thursday, June 9, 2022.” The road, which was closed for a collision investigation, reopened around 6 a.m. on Friday, June 10. A Scotland Ambulance spokesman said: “We received a call at 4:15 pm on June 9, 2022 to attend an A199 incident near Foxlake Adventures in East Lothian. “An ambulance and two of the Special Operations Response Team (SORT) were dispatched to the scene.” Scotland Fire and Rescue Service contacted for comment.
