Around 3:45 p.m.  on Tuesday, the OPP were notified that the Trenton Joint Rescue Coordination Center and the Canadian Coast Guard found a body in the water near the tip of Long Point while conducting a training exercise.
The unidentified subject was brought back to shore and is described as a white male, 5’9″ to 5’10”, weighing approximately 160 to 180 pounds with brown hair.

According to police, the man was wearing a gray hoodie with the ‘RED MTN’ logo on the front of the pullover which is blue, black and gray in colour.
The man was also wearing jeans and black hiking style running shoes/boots.  A post-mortem examination is scheduled to determine the cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing and police say there will be an update when new information becomes available.
