Emergency services were called to facilities at the Argyll Arcade off Argyle Street around 5.40am. on Saturday 11 June.
A 51-year-old man was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have closed Sloans Lane in the city’s busy shopping district as they investigate the death.
The lane connects Buchanan Street with Argyle Street.

The death is not considered suspicious but investigations into the circumstances are ongoing.
A Scottish police spokesman said: “At around 5.40am on Saturday 11 June, police were called to the Argyll Arcade.
“Police and an ambulance rushed and a 51-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Police investigations are continuing to determine the circumstances of the death, however it is not believed that there are any suspicious circumstances.
“A report will be sent to the Finance Prosecutor.”
