The first flight, carrying 166 people, landed a month ago and the last flight is scheduled to arrive in St. Petersburg. John’s International from Warsaw on Tuesday. All arriving Ukrainians have been issued a Canada-Ukraine Extraordinary Travel Visa authorization allowing them to live and work in Canada for up to three years. Ukrainians arriving in Newfoundland and Labrador also receive MCP coverage. Most newcomers will be transferred to pre-arranged accommodation in the St. Louis area. John to rest and begin to adjust to their new environment, while others will travel to stay with family and friends across the countryside.
