Environment Canada is warning of possible wet snow in Richmond tonight and Sunday morning. A snow warning for Metro Vancouver, including Richmond, was issued Saturday morning. A low approaching the south coast bringing wet rain tonight may lead to wet snow over higher ground. Snow levels are expected to drop overnight. Locations near sea level may see wet snow, but accumulation will likely occur in places 100 meters above sea level. Richmond is, on average, one meter above sea level. Drivers are advised to adapt their driving to changing road conditions, such as slowing down, paying attention to tail lights ahead and being prepared to stop in case of reduced visibility.
