Developed by Supermassive Games and published by 2K, it features traditional horror game elements with the addition of character development, relationships, and other plot elements influenced by user choice. Quarry is a third-person game where the player takes control of nine different teenagers who must survive a night in a quarry. Recently, Supermassive Games announced a DLC for The Quarry to celebrate Halloween. Throughout the game, players are forced to make choices about the characters and the environment. These choices determine whether the characters will survive or not. Also, the story of the game changes as players choose between different actions during the game lasting up to ten hours. Quarry has a total of 186 endings and a Death Rewind feature that allows situations to be replayed. In addition to the single player campaign, The Quarry can be played in both local co-op and online multiplayer. In local mode, different players take turns controlling their characters, while in online multiplayer up to seven other players can vote on key choices during the story.
