According to online records, Koechner was arrested in southern Ohio shortly before 2 a.m. on June 4 for operating a vehicle under the influence. A law enforcement source tells us that a state soldier noticed that Kehner seduced, pulled him and allegedly smelled alcohol in his breath. Kehner received a ticket for the offense and is scheduled to appear in court next month. As for why he was in Ohio – on Koechner’s tour – and hosted “The Office” trivia later that day in Ironton. Koechner played Todd Packer on the show. This is not the first time he has been convicted of drinking and driving. The actor and comedian was charged with DUI and ran after an arrest on New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles. During the incident, police say, he blew two tires before stopping and blew a 0.13 BAC at the stadium and a 0.12 once back at the station. Following his arrest in Los Angeles, his estranged wife filed legal documents requesting that his visit with their 5 children be temporarily suspended and that safeguards be put in place to ensure (Koechner’s) sobriety.
