At least three people were reportedly killed by gunfire and a government soldier was slightly injured after a mass shooting inside a Maryland production shop. Police said the suspect is said to be no longer a threat to the community and Highway officials closed all lanes of Maryland Route 66. The Baltimore Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Bureau confirmed in a tweet that their agents were assisting local authorities at the scene. “ATF Special Agents are responding to assist our partners in the Washington County Sheriff’s office in a shooting incident in Smithsburg, MD, where there are multiple casualties,” the agency wrote on Twitter.
