JERSEY CITY, New Jersey – Americans at a Garden State gas station on Thursday shared their thoughts on President Biden, advertising US economic conditions during an interview with Jimmy Kim.
“I think inflation will really hurt the economy in the future,” Tom of New Jersey told Fox News. “It does not seem to stop, and oil and gas, I do not see it as a mitigation, so it will hurt.”
But Lewis, also from New Jersey, said: “I think we’re growing up very fast here in the US; so I’ll agree with him a little bit.”
Biden’s appearance in “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Wednesday night marked his first online interview in 118 days. Biden promoted the success of the economy, but said inflation was “the scourge of our existence.”
